The next stage of BICI (Bloomberg) opens new opportunities for cities

The new call for applications for the Bloomberg Initiative for Cycling Infrastructure (BICI) opened on June 3rd, Developed in collaboration with Bloomberg Philanthropies, this global initiative supports cities in designing and implementing safe, high-quality cycling networks.

To see a real example of how initiatives like this can be translated into urban projects that improve cycling infrastructure, we can look at some of the projects developed in previous editions.

In last year’s edition, held in Fortaleza (Brazil), the safety of bike lane users was improved through an intervention that included the installation of Zebra Family®cycle lane separators.
