At ZICLA, we work to create safe, accessible, inclusive and sustainable cities, where the waste they generate returns to them in the form of products that provide solutions to their challenges.

We are a company committed to people, the circular economy, and the environment.
Since 2005, we have been supporting cities in the transformation process to meet the challenges of the 21st century. We work to make cycling safer and streets more accessible, cyclable, and walkable for everybody. We do all this by creating products made from the waste that cities generate.

The fundamental aspects that guide our activities are the ecodesign, the changing needs of the city, the needs of the end user of our solutions, the context in which our products must perform, and the environment.

That is why, as part of our work, we commit to the following points, which differentiate ZICLA as a company:

1

We develop and ecodesign modular, recycled, reusable, and recyclable products with a low environmental footprint.

2

We manufacture our products with post-consumer and post-industrial plastic waste. At the same time, we conduct R+D+i for the use of new recycled materials in the fabrication of our products to find a balance between the performance of these materials in the urban context (climate, weather, traffic, dirt, etc.), the user experience, and the minimum environmental footprint.

3

We focus on reversibility. We view cities as dynamic and ever evolving, that is why our products are designed to be used in reversible solutions. Once they have fulfilled their function, they can be dismantled and reinstalled elsewhere to meet changing needs.

4

We accompany cities in the successful implementation of our products to create safe, accessible, and inclusive streets in a reversible, quick, and economical way.*

5

We consider the needs of all road users to create complete streets. Therefore, we collaborate with relevant associations and institutions that represent these interest groups and they play an important role in the design process of our street safety solutions and their continuous improvement.

* Our proposed solutions, configurations, and customizations help experts in the cities or organizations that purchase our products to make their decisions, but they are purely consultative. Under no circumstances can they be considered construction documents. The experts from these cities or companies are solely responsible for adopting the final solutions, configurations or customizations and ensuring that these comply with the town planning, traffic, safety, or any other applicable regulations in force at all times in each location.

We are a company committed to safe and sustainable mobility, accessibility and the environment.

Our recognition.

Other business areas.

Zicla has another business area
called Wastle consulting.

In addition, at ZICLA, since the very beginning, we have an industrial consulting area focused on the waste generated by manufacturing companies, services and commerce, the public and private sectors, and cities, where we develop innovative projects that add value to these wastes.

We strive to transform the waste generated by cities, industries, services, and citizens themselves into raw materials or products that the market accepts for their quality and price. We promote innovative projects for companies, administrations, technology centers, and associations interested in the reuse, remanufacturing, or recovery of waste.

In this process, we commit to the following points:

Working on the “upcycling” of waste so that its new life has the highest added value possible.

Designing and developing solutions for the reuse, remanufacturing, or recovery of waste to avoid landfill. In collaboration with the involved stakeholders such as waste generators, technology centers, industries, designers, etc.

Bringing to market new raw materials, remanufactured products, reused products, and new recycled, ecodesigned products with a low environmental footprint accepted in the market for their quality and price.
