ZICLA | Products

We dream of more accessible, inclusive, friendly, and sustainable cities, where waste is brought back in the shape of products that help solve their problems.

We are guided by our desire to help transform cities into habitable places.

Since 2005, we have been supporting cities in the transformation process they must undergo to meet the challenges of the 21st century. We work to make cycling safer, and to make city streets more accessible, cyclable, and walkable for everybody. We do all this by creating products made from the waste that these same cities generate.

Our Zipper® system modules allow them to segregate cycle lanes, and to build roundabouts and street corner projections. Our Zebra® family of cycle lane separators enables the segregation of bike lanes. The modules of our Vectorial® system allow, due to its modularity, the assembly of platforms that help to widen pavements and improve urban accessibility in general and accessibility and safety for the public at bus stops in particular. All our solutions are composed of recycled, recyclable, reusable, competitive, and high-quality products made from post-consumer and post-industrial plastic waste.

Our products allow reversible solutions to be configured. Once they have fulfilled their function, they can be dismantled and reinstalled elsewhere to meet specific needs at any given time.

We are backed by our proven experience in more than 300 cities around the world for over more than a decade to solve their mobility and street accessibility problems.

All our products are made from various recycled plastic materials. The way we work is in line with the circular economy and we focus on the resource cycle, following a model based on reusing, repairing, remanufacturing, and recovering existing materials and products, as opposed to using virgin materials.

We are a company committed to safe and sustainable mobility, accessibility and the environment.

Our challenge .

By 2050, 70% of the world’s population will be living in cities. Our challenge is to help make these cities accessible, sustainable, inclusive, and people-friendly.

By 2050, 70% of the world’s population will be living in cities.

Our commitment.

To design and develop reversible solutions that help cities modify urban space quickly and cost-effectively, and to make their streets safer, as well as more accessible, sustainable and inclusive.

To shape these solutions in the form of modular, eco-designed, recycled, reusable and recyclable products with a low environmental footprint that could be installed and uninstalled quickly and economically.

To focus on the continuous improvement of our products and their constant adaptation to the evolution of cities and their needs.

To use new recycled materials to manufacture our products to minimize their environmental footprint.

Our commitment to innovation.

When we receive an inquiry from anywhere in the world about a potential project, we evaluate it to see how products from our Vectorial® or Zipper® systems, or our Zebra® family could be incorporated into it, so that we can best respond to the needs expressed.

Once we know about the problem to be solved, the available space, and the client’s expectations, we show examples of various solutions and configurations that could be adapted to the case in question, based on our trajectory experience. We also inform clients that ZICLA products can be customized upon request to make it easier for the user to understand, to improve their visibility both during day and night, and to adapt them to the applicable regulations in their city.

So, the customer can see how the solution and the chosen configuration will be applied, we can, for example, prepare renderings, 3D visualizations, and more.

Based on the solution and configuration chosen by the client, we carry out an economic analysis based on the number of modules required, to provide the most economical solution possible.

Once the purchase has been confirmed, we are ready to ship our products anywhere in the world. To do this, we work with experienced logistics and transport companies.

To allow the customer to make the installation on their own or with the help of an external team, we provide our User Guide and Installation Manual were clients can find all the needed information to carry out a safe, and efficient installation. In any case, we are always ready to answer the questions of our clients, considering that the correct installation of the chosen solution is crucial to maximizing its longevity.

Finally, once the product has been installed on the streets of a city, we monitor the project to make sure everything is working properly and to suggest, if necessary, the replacement of parts that have deteriorated through use, or the installation of new, more advanced parts that have been developed under ZICLA’s policy of continuously improving our products.

Our proposed solutions, configurations, and customizations. help experts in the cities or organizations that purchase our products to make their decisions, but they are purely consultative. Under no circumstances can they be considered construction documents. The experts from these cities or companies are solely responsible for adopting the final solutions, configurations or customizations and ensuring that these comply with the town planning, traffic, safety, or any other applicable regulations in force at all times in each location..

We ship our products all over the world.

Other business areas.

ZICLA has another business area
called ZICLA | Innovation.

At ZICLA | Innovation we develop innovative projects that give value to the waste generated by cities, services, industries, and the public.

ZICLA | Innovation works so that the waste generated by cities, industry, services, and the public is transformed into raw materials or products that the market accepts in terms of quality and price. We do all this by promoting innovative projects involving companies, administrations, technology centers, and associations interested in reusing, remanufacturing, or recovering waste.
