The Design for All Foundation has recognized our Zipper\u00ae system as a Good Practice.<\/p>\n

The Zipper \u00ae<\/a> system has been conceived as urban equipment that improves the safety of the cyclists when the bike lane is located on the road. The units of the Zipper system are fabricated with 100% recycled and recyclable plastic.<\/p>\n

The Design for all Foundation and the Design for All or Universal Design.<\/h2>\n

The Design for all Foundation<\/a> recognizes all the efforts that companies, entities, administrations and professionals all over the world implement in order to achieve a Design for All or a Universal design that contributes to improve the life quality of everybody.<\/p>\n

Choosing criterion of the Good Practices.<\/h2>\n

The Design for All Foundation believes that their awards would not be a competition, and that they should recognize all examples of good practice which arise from identifying a need or problem and satisfying user requirements and expectations. Hence from this edition onward the Design for All Foundation will honour all “Good Practices” which meet the criteria for excellence.<\/p>\n

However, each year an international jury selects the 5 “Best Practices<\/strong>” out of all the Good Practices submitted to be presented with the International Design for All Foundation Award. These will be the examples which stand out in terms of their impact and which indicate the way ahead for better implementation of design for all \/ universal design.<\/p>\n
